NOVELLINE, Lisa Anne Age 56, of Lexington, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, November 9, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer.
Lisa was born on December 12, 1968, in Barberton, Ohio, to Sylvester and Anne. A gifted dancer from a young age, she performed with the Boston Ballet and was cast as Clara in The Nutcracker for the 1979, 1980, and 1981 seasons.
After graduating from Chelmsford High School in 1986, Lisa worked diligently to save money to marry her high school sweetheart, Dave. The two wed in 1988 and went on to build a beautiful life together, raising four sons, Justin, Ryan, Joshua and Liam.
While raising her family, Lisa continued her education, earning an Associate of Science, Arts and Science from Northeastern University, a Bachelor of Science from Lesley University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northeastern University, and a Master's in Education from Harvard University.
Lisa went on to teach middle school mathematics at the Edward Devotion School in Brookline, Massachusetts, where she inspired countless students with her creativity, warmth, and love of learning.
In addition to her teaching career, Lisa was a talented author and creator. She wrote and published the award-winning "Piccadilly and Her Magical World" book series, through which she encouraged children to imagine possibilities, explore ideas, and dream boldly.
Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Dave; her sons, Justin, Ryan, Joshua and Liam; her sister, Laura; and her father, Sylvester. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anne.
Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Lisa's memory by purchasing and gifting one of the "Piccadilly and Her Magical World" books - continuing to share her world "wherein children can imagine possibilities, experiment with ideas, and dream solutions as rich and diverse as they are."
