LORRAINE AND i DUG UP SOME YELLOW IRIS FROM A DESERTED PIECE OF PROPERTY. I asked her what these tall up to my knees green plants were--Her reply oh, poison ivy. We both were covered with poison ivy. We met moons ago at a gathering of Women university graduate welcoming meeting. Best of friends from then on as we both were new to Acton

When I was just beginning to garden , Lorraine gave me a variety of flowers to start with. Every spring when they emerge from their winter's nap,I'm reminded of her.
My condolences.
