LOUIS DISARCINA Obituary

DiSARCINA, Louis F. Of Revere and Somerville, July 1. Father of Ben DiSarcina and his wife Jenn of Somerville. Son of the late Bernard and Mary DiSarcina. Brother of Teresa Tuccelli of Somerville and the late Rose tuccelli and John DiSarcina. Grandfather of Sebastian DiSarcina. Louis is also survived by many adored nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Funeral Services in the Cota-Struzziero Funeral Home, 197 Washington St., SOMERVILLE, on Friday, July 6 at 10am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday 4-8 pm. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, Boston. In lieuof flowers, donations may be made in Louis' memory to the MSPCA Angell, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130 (www.mspca.org/donate) or Boston Partners in Education, 44 Farnsworth Street, Boston, MA02210 (www. bostonpartners.org). Louis was a founding member of the Yankee Flipper Scuba Diving Club, one of the first divers certified in scuba in New England and was Diver of the year in 1960. He enjoyed music, playing cards, watching westerns and thoroughly enjoyed his grandson Sebastian and his entire family. Louis was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard During the Korean War.
