Lucy Metcalf Obituary

METCALF, Lucy A. (Giandomenico) Of Needham, formerly of Walpole, March 26th, age 94. Beloved wife of the late Emery D. Devoted mother of David and his wife Gail of Norfolk and Janice Doherty and her husband Roger of Portland, ME. Cherished sister of the late Stephen, Roland, Daniel, Concetta "Jerry" Giandomenico and Lena Johnson. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St., WALPOLE, Mon. morning at 9 followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Blessed Sacrament Church, Walpole at 10. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sun. evening 3-6. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Lucy was an avid crafter who enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing, quilting, rug hooking, painting, cooking and was a dedicated Boston Red Sox fan.
