LYNWOOD DALE "LENNIE" HAMILTON

HAMILTON, Lynwood Dale "Lennie" Age 81, of Needham, peacefully surrounded by family on July 2, 2023. Lennie is survived by his wife, Barrie Lee Hamilton, Needham; his daughters, Lee Ann Wallace and her husband, Kevin, Wrentham, and Barrie Lynn Wise, Needham. Lennie was also survived by his five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren along with his sister, Judith Hamilton and brother, Duane Hamilton. Lennie was a thirty five-year veteran of the Needham Police Department. During his retirement, he spent quality time with all of his grandchildren as they were all his "pride and joy." Also during his retirement, Lennie committed his time to Post 2498 VFW of Needham. Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday, July 12th from 4-7 p.m. at Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bartholomew Parish, 1180 Greendale Ave., Needham, on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. Donations in Lennie's memory may be made to Society of African Missions, 337 Common St., Dedham, MA 02026.
