M. Capone Obituary

Of Needham, 11/5, at 84 years of age. Beloved husband of Catherine "Kay" (Montouri). Loving father of Linda of Kingston, Diane Wells of Uxbridge, David of Norfolk and Stephen and his wife Kelly of Needham. Proud grandfather of Adam and Stephanie Wells, David Capone, Dante and Michaela Capone. After Pearl Harbor, he served in the U.S.A.A.F. 14th AF, 92 Fighter Squadron. He served as a Staff Sgt. in North Africa, Italy and China on a B29 and received the Purple Heart. He was the owner of Charles Capone Construction Company of Dedham and played a role in building The Eisenhower Road Network, particularly with the construction of Route 128. He was a founding board member of the Landmark School, former board member of 1st Bank and Trust Company, Needham, and member of NPRC. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, on Monday, Nov. 10, at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, Needham, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2-6:00 PM. Burial at Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston. We are saddened to hear of Mr. Capone's passing. I (Nils) have known him since I was in kindergarten with his son, David (1959) and his generousity was always overwhelming. We will all miss his big smile and big heart.
