I will miss Bill deeply. I worked with Bill for years at the Kennedy School and I will never forget him. We had great times playing basketball and tennis together, he was always so full of life!! He was terrific to my son when he was growing up except that he tried (and failed) to make him a Yankee fan? Rest in peace Bill.

I had the pleasure to get to know Bill through golf at Far Corners in Boxford. We went on a golf vacation to Myrtle Beach in 2000. Bill was the funniest person I had ever met, no matter where we went he always had a charming personality. He would throw those damn Yankees comments through emails and conversations until the Red sox won the world series, I am glad he got to see the Red sox win although a piece of his Bronxness diminished a bit. Although he moved to Maine, I am glad we got together to golf a couple times in the summer with Kevin,Bill, and myself..He enjoyed traveling so leave it to Bill to go in paradise.. He will be sorely missed.. God Bless Bill

My good friend Victoria Macrokanis has said it all. I too worked with and for Mr. Hart at the Cummings School. There was never a day that went by that I didn't feel welcomed and or valued. I loved how he always was able to tease and tell jokes in order to ease the tensions that would arise for any number of reasons, be them personal or professional. He always had an ear for me to bend. His thoughtfulness and caring will long be remembered. Here's to Bill Hart and Jane McGrath. May they look down upon us and smile.

With many fonds memories,

I was saddened to hear the news of Bill's passing. I am proud to say that I had the pleasure of working with Bill from the start of my career. I was a student teacher for Bill at the Kennedy school in 1980. When I became a professional teacher he asked me to fill a maturnity leave position at the WHCS in 84-85. I Then worked for him for 12 years at the Cummings school. He was always fair and compassionate to his teachers. A fond memory of Bill was that he loved to dabble in friendly wagering with his staff!!!! I was also saddened when he was made an offer he could not refuse which was an early retirement. My condolences go out to both his families. He will truly be missed.
