Marc F. GEARIN

GEARIN, Marc F. Age 62, a longtime resident of Boston, died peacefully, Monday, September 8, 2025, in the comfort of his loving wife, Masako, and dear friends, after a hard-fought battle against cancer.

Marc was born in Ware and grew up in Spencer. He graduated from Saint John's High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College and went on to receive a Master of Business from Suffolk University. He was a well-respected member of Boston's finance community. His long and successful career in Private Banking included senior positions with several of the city's leading banks and lending institutions.

Marc leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Masako Nakamura. He is survived by his mother, Beverly A. (LaVallee) Nelson; his siblings: Laureen Gearin, Timothy Gearin (Jacqueline) and Jacalyn Gearin; his sister-in-law, Keiko Nakamura (Wayne); niece, Kaitlin Gearin; and nephews, Tyler Gearin, Kai and Riku Yasutomi.
