Through the adoption agency Marilyn created, I was able to touch the lives of many people while working at BABI in the 1980's and 90's. Marilyn was the instrument in creating families for so many who were longing for a child and I was privileged to see the resulting joy. What better legacy can a person leave after them than continuing life and love?

Marilyn placed 2 boys with us through the Boston adoption agency. She gave so much of her self to each person she met. She will be missed.

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of my cousin Marilyn. While geography and time and just life itself kept us from being closer, at least facebook kept us in touch. I will always remember her as my fun loving cousin, Maribones!

So many fond memories of Marilyn- she taught me a lot about adoption.
Later on she and our daughter lived together in Cambridge- Aura worked on Newbury St; Marilyn welcomed her like a daughter.
We will miss Marilyn.

My sincere condolences to Marilyn's family. I am saddened to hear of her passing. She helped me place my birth son for adoption 27 years ago. We had just spoken in September to start the reunion process. She carried on as if there was no illness. Her strength is admired. I will forever be grateful for her help. God bless!!

Our tears of happiness when Marilyn introduced us to our son in 1987.

Please accept my sincere condolences, Speiser Family, on Marilyn's passing. As a volunteer at Mount Auburn Hospital, I had the pleasure of visiting with her several times and benefited from her wisdom. Despite pain, she smiled, we had deep conversations, and every time I left it was with a heavy heart for her. What a lovely woman, your Marilyn, and I am so sorry for your loss.
