Please accept our condolences. Mario was a kind and generous man. When I first moved to Hudson Street, Mario invited me over for a glass of wine. I didn't get a chance to take him up on that offer, but I'll always remember how welcome I felt after moving to the neighborhood. He will be missed.

Dear Johnny, Frannie and Extended Family

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your Dad. Your Dad was a very special man. I was privileged to have known him and live next door for many years. Mario was hardworking, selfless, kind and giving to everybody. I have a lot of fond memories with your Dad whether it was working in his Garden or breaking bread with his family. Mario treated me like I was part of his family. Your Dad was the perfect example of a father, loving husband and awesome neighbor. We are all lucky to have had Mario in our life. I know I will cherish his friendship. Your old Garden Helper Kenneth Gale and Family

Fran, Please know that your Dad is in a far better place with his loving wife, family and all his many friends, probably sipping a glass of vino. I know he appreciated all your sacrifices and everything you did for him over the years. He is smiling down on you today.
