Powers and her husband John of Needham, Maureen A. Motchok and her husband Douglas of Needham, Paul J. Dauwer and his wife Karyn of Duxbury. Loving grandmother of Jay, Elizabeth, Meg, Julie, Patrick, Caitlin, Colleen and Joey. Sister of the late Margaret E. Burns and Rev. William J. Burns. Marion was a graduate of Emmanuel College, Class of 1947 and former School Teacher in the Newton School System. Active parishioner of St. Bartholomew's Church. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. (Exit 19B off Rt 128), NEEDHAM, Tues. at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. My heart goes out to the Dauwer family over the loss of Marion. She was a constant presence with her beloved Leo at many training sessions conducted by him. She was always considered part of the team. She will be missed by so many who loved her and cherished her friendship. May her family take solace in knowing she led a good life, was respected and enjoyed, and left footprints across the heart of anyone who knew here. My she rest in peace and always be remembered.
