Mary Ellen,
I learned of Mark's death at Big Bill Smith's funeral a couple of months ago. Needless to say,I was shocked and saddened. I loved Mark. We made each other laugh until we cried and laughed some more. I can still hear that laugh. He was a kind and good man. I am sorry for you and your children. But, you and everyone Mark touched have great memories which will bring comfort and smiles with the tears in the days ahead.

6/21/2010 MaryEllen, I so often think of "all my Callahan cousins" and thought I'd try to look up MaryAnn and get in touch. I came across Mark's obituary accdently, and I'm so sad! I (secretly always had a crush on Mark from wayback when I was little) I loved visiting "THE CALLAHAN" household. There was never a dull moment. In fact, Mark taught me how to play poker! All the Callahans were the handsomest family. I had a crush on Mr. Callahan, the Dad, too! I was always so jealous that MaryAnn had 3 older brothers. You were a classy lady!

Mark, you are a true friend who will be missed; a genuine person who was a pleasure to know; a caring man willing to help at a moments notice; a person who never lost sight of the importance of family and friendships, no matter the passage of time; a neighbor always willing to help out, no matter the situation from Milwood St. to Reservation Rd. and beyond.
Thank you for all you have done for our family. Your humor, honesty and friendship will be missed. Your wife and family are hurting deeply by the suddeness of your passing, as are your friends. Time will lessen our hurts, but you will always be missed, never forgotten.

To ALL the Callahans...we share your loss and grief, we share our prayers and we share our friendships. The bonds formed on Milwood Street will never be broken. Friendships last beyond a lifetime!
Paul, Jackie and all the Delaney Family
