MARK FLAHERTY Obituary

FLAHERTY, Mark J. Of Milton, passed away suddenly on January 1, 2022, at the age of 62. Born and raised in Milton, Mark graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School where he was on the baseball team. He was a retired pressman for the Boston Globe and a member of the Pressman's Union. Growing up, Mark was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed being on the water and fishing, and was an avid sports fan, who you could often find cheering on his favorite Boston sports teams, the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. A devoted father, son, brother, and friend, Mark will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Mark was the loving father of Jeffrey Flaherty of Norwood. Dear son of Marjorie Flaherty of Milton and the late Frederick Flaherty. Devoted brother of Frederick "Robbie" Flaherty of Taunton. Former husband of Natalie. Also survived by many nieces; aunts, uncles; cousins; and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Monday, January 10th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St., (RT.28), RANDOLPH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 11th at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Rd., Milton. Burial will be private.
