Martha Kern Caires Troutman

82, died on May 12, 2007, in Sandwich, MA. She was born and raised on Brattle St. in Cambridge, attended Radcliffe College ('46) and Harvard Medical School ('49). She completed a residency in the Dept. of Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center and practiced that specialty for many years in New York City. She retired to Cambridge and later to Sandwich. Married for 17 years to Richard C. Troutman, M.D. She leaves behind her son Richard C. Troutman Jr. of Fairfield, Iowa, her daughter Anne W. Troutman and her grandson William of Santa Monica, CA. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, 159 Main St. in Sandwich, MA on Wed., October 24, 2007 at 1pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Carmelite Monastery, 61 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Roxbury, Boston, MA 02119.
