Marty Mayer was one FANTASTIC BOSS/ VP National Service and a tremendous supporter in anyting you did and he gave you every opportunity to do something very Meaningful in my case it was to create an entirely whole new program at the time; The National Account Service Manager Program. To Diane and and all of Marty's family-I had the great pleasure working with Marty at Xerox in Rochester in the mid-80's and came to know a man that was a great friend and mentor. But above all else I remember well the many conversations we had about family and friends. Marty was a truly remarkable guy that I was privileged to know and understand how important all of you were to his life. I offer my deepest sympathy to each of you for your loss and I will always think of Marty with a smile in my heart. God Bless you all. Mike Waters Penfield, NY

Dear Mayer family,
Please accept my condolences during this challenging time. I was fortunate to meet Marty during his work with MRI back in the early 2000’s and during this time found him to be a genuine bloke who was engaging, had tremendous spirit and overall respected all people and their diverse backgrounds.
I am sure Marty will be sorely missed by the extended family but am doubly sure he will never be forgotten.

To Diane,
I had the honor of working under Marty at Xerox in Rochester. In my 20 years at Xerox I never met a brighter flame. He was so intelligent and strong, and yet still passionate enough to tolerate a dunce like me. And what a wicked sense of humor! Of course I am devastated to know that he is gone, but after all, we are all headed in that direction and Marty is just a bit ahead of us. If there is a next life, perhaps I will have the honor of being one of Marty's "staffies" once again.

To Marty's Family,
I worked for Marty as a software consultant for several years in the 90s. It was a great experience, in large part because of Marty. He was an excellent client - highly intelligent and creative - but more so he was just a wonderful human being. It was a pleasure to work with him.
I trust and hope that your memories of Marty will comfort you in this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am greatly saddened to learn that Marty has passed on. We were good friends growing up in Minneapolis, our parents intimate friends.
We were together at college and remained on good terms afterward, as our lives moved in different directions.
My deepest condolences to Diane and the family. All have lost
a dear man and a "straight-shooter". -- Dick Regan

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Mayer family.
I had the pleasure of having Marty as an instructor at Albertus Magnus College in a course on Entrepreneurship. His classes were always interesting and innovative, and he had a knack for bringing out the best in all of his students.
He encouraged us to be open to new ideas while always staying true to our passions.
He will be missed.
