Of Ayer, formerly of Concord, Jan 1, 80. Beloved wife of Edwin J. Bloom, Jr. Mother of Edward J. Bloom of W. Concord, Mary Catherine Bloom of Pasadena, CA, Theresa Ann Hontas of N. Bend, WA and Donna Marie Schaff of Shirley, sister of Josephine Merrette of Binghamton, NY. She was the sister of the late James Caciola of NE, Charles Caciola and Anna Dicerchio, both of CA, Florence Molo of Binghamton, NY and Natalie Ferraro of FL. She was the grandmother of Duncan Schaff, Tyler Schaff, Angela Hontas and Samantha Hontas. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 am Mon., Jan. 7 at St. Theresa's Church, Still River Rd, Harvard. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veteran's Cemetery, Winchendon. Mary's request is that memorial contributions be made to the St. Theresa's Church, Still River Rd, Harvard, MA 01451. I am so sad to hear of your loss. I always stopped by to visit your Mom whenever I was in the library. She was such a fun person and my Mom always enjoyed chatting with her whenever they met downtown. She was a great neighbor too! My thoughts are with you all.
