To the Conroy family: I´m so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Mary Catherine for the first time while I was at Eames Way at the end of the day waiting for my ride to come. Mary was a very happy little girl and truly a precious girl.

Conroy Family,
I only knew Mary for the summer of 2006. I worked at MGH in the Child Life Dept. and spent some cheerful times with Mary. I am so so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful and happy little girl and your family is amazing. I wish you all the best. I meant to write to you all earlier, but I was thinking of her the other day and found this. My experience at MGH and my time with Mary truly changed my life.

Sorry it has taken so long to write this, but Vinny and I wanted to say how very sorry we are that your family has had this tremendous loss. Mary was a wonderful little girl, and I will always remember that day with her playing in the backyard with Nora, both of them laughing and having such fun.

Dear Conroy family, I learn of your loss through my web of American Cancer Society friends. Although we have never met, your story brings tears to my eyes and fire to my heart, the kind of fire that keeps me going strong in the fight against cancer. It sometimes takes unfortunate events such as this help you truly discover the strength of family and of your faith. May Mary be at peace in heaven knowing all of the love and support she was given during her short stay on this earth.

I never met Mary Katherine and I don't think I've met you, although I believe I met some of your relatives at last year's Marshfield Relay for Life. Her story touched me then, and it touches me even more now. No family should have to suffer such a loss, and I will keep Mary Katherine's experience in my mind and my heart as I pursue my activities as an American Cancer Society board member, volunteer, and advocate. Thank you for sharing such heart-warming stories about your fallen angel.

Barbara and I want to extend out deepest sympathy over the loss of your little doll. It is unnatural when a child pre-deceases a parent but God's Ways are beyond the human mind to comprehend. I am sure He would not take her at this time unless He felt she suffered enough and He now intends to have her "prepare a place for you." We know without doubt that the Heavenly bells tolled loudly on January 22nd as another little angel got her wings and you now have someone to pray to directly and another angel to watch over you and those you love so much.

Marybeth, Jim and family : Words cannot express the deep sense of loss for you and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Mary Mary.
I remember when I first met you folks and everyone called her that, and I soon relized why. You had to say her name twice because she was so special and just a joy to be around. She sang songs to me everyday I worked at your house. Honestly it was my favorite job to go to in 25 years because of Mary Mary. I was so impressed with how tough she was and how she fought this thing with such dignity the whole way. It could not hold back that unique personality that we know she was. From this day forward, when anything is not going right, just look over your shoulder and that perfect little angel will be singing back to you and sliding across the kitchen floor like she always did.

Santa wishes he had more influence with our loving God, whose ways are hard to understand.
Mary was the definition of childhood innocence which Santa tries to perpetuate in a difficult world.
