Mary Fay Obituary

73, of Lunenburg, formerly of Sudbury, died at her home on August 1, 2008. Mary Jane was born in 1934 and lived in New York until moving to Massachusetts in 1972. She was educated at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Center, NY and was a graduate of St. John's University in 1956. She was a hospital pharmacist in NY for 12 years at Mather and St. Charles' hospitals. She then worked as a hospital pharmacist at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, MA for over 20 years. She was a resident of Sudbury for more than 30 years before moving to Lunenburg, MA. Mary Jane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother-as well as a talented and avid quilter. She is survived by husband, Francis A. Fay of Lunenburg, MA and her three children: Francis G. Fay of Augusta, Maine, Joseph A. Fay of Naperville, IL and Rosanna Fay Malcolm of San Leandro, CA. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Michael Fay and Emily Fay of Naperville, IL and her sister, Noel Luby of Unadilla, NY. She is predeceased by her son, Michael Martin Fay. Funeral services will be held from the Duckett-J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd., Rt. 20, SUDBURY, Wednesday, August 6th at 9:30 a.m. to be followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anselm Parish, 100 Landham Rd., Sudbury. Burial will be held at St. James Cemetery, Long Island, New York at a later date. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5th.
