The front left pew will always be the seat of Mary Elizabeth. Though we have missed her presence in these past few years, she has been and always be in our midst.

It with deep love, sympathy and honor that we include this message of condolence to the Tucker family in the name of the whole Rice-Finnerty at this time. Many of us in the neighborhood of Morningside Heights where our parents' long friendship with Mary Elizabeth, Bill and her parents, Carlton and Evelyn Hayes has so influenced our own lives. From my parents'relationship,(both Frederick W. and Madeleine H. Rice,) we have each been well-grounded in the values of the Social Gospel.Indeed a truly shared heritage to be lived ever more consistently in these our times, as did Mary Elizabeth, Carroll, and each of our families and friends gone before. There can be no greater tribute than faithfulness now to these values.
