SHAFFER, Maura Frances (Linehan) Age 67, of Pepperell, July 22, 2021. Beloved wife of Edward C. Shaffer, LTC USA, Ret. Devoted mother of John E. Shaffer of Churchville, MD. Dear sister of Karen Linehan of Paris, France, Shawn Linehan of Burlington, Julie Ridge of Providence, RI, and Mark Linehan of Wilmington. Loving grandmother of Siena and Samuel and mother-in-law to Jaime Shaffer of MD. Mrs. Shaffer (M.Ed.) was a professional educator, serving as Academic Counselor for International Students at Merrimack College and Study Skills Instructor at the US Military Academy, West Point, following a variety of teaching assignments in the US, Germany, Korea and England during her husband's active duty Army career. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Parish worshipping at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main St., Westford, MA on Monday, August 2 at 10 a.m. Those who wish to attend remotely may do so via www.HarborView.Live Interment at West Point, NY will be held at a later date.
