I am truly sorry for seeing this so many years later. I have thought about Mrs.MCCarthy thru the years. She was my kindergarten teacher at Saint Brigid school. 1978-1979. Everyday started with a hug
She is the reason I loved books . And learned to read. Her joy and love she showed helped me thru many difficult days at SBS. I wish I got to tell her. What an impact she had on my life. I'm so sorry for your loss. I am thankful for the love she gave me. When I needed it the most.
Blessings to you all. Bonnie (Ruggiero) Marquez class of 1987 SBS

So sorry to hear of Maureen's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at Saint Brigid School and always appreciated the love and caring she showed to the children. Her personality and wit was unmatched and she brightened many of my days.
