Mike and I worked together at Lifetime Television during the early `90´s. We became friends immediately. Great memories of "skipping" work to grab the subway to Yankee Stadium to see the Yanks vs Sox. I would beg him to not wear his Bosox cap but he would just smile and say "relax you big galoot." We also road tripped together many times. Memphis, Las Vegas, New Orleans to name a few. We made stops at places like Graceland, Sun Records, Hemingway´s house and The Redwood forest. And, if he could find us the seediest of motels along the way, you would think he had struck gold.
I hadn´t seen or talked to Mike the last few years and hearing the news of his sudden passing just stings. Really just too hard to believe. He pushed me out of my comfort zone many times and I´ll always be grateful to him for opening my eyes to new things. Especially the Sunday morning church sermon held by the Reverend Al Green. That was...something.
Thank you Mike for the life lessons and all the laughs along the way. Rest easy my friend.

I first met Mike in first grade at the old Hillside School and remained lifelong friends since.
We shared a mutual appreciation of movies, music and sports and attended many films, concerts and sporting events through the years.
Mike was a smart, creative and funny guy as well as a talented, artist, musician, and writer.
You will be missed my friend. Rest easy.

Mike was a close friend. Taken way too soon. We saw 100's of movies together, several New Orleans Jazzfests, and loads of concerts and ballgames. Will be missed. RIP my friend.
