Michael was a dear friend of mine while we attended Oklahoma Christian, and wrote to each other over the years. We spent many an evening in the practice rooms @ OCC with he & Gordon at the piano, laughing over the dumbest things, with me trying to learn some piano! He was always smiling and was sweet and funny! Being from the Arkansas, I always loved his accent. What a dear, and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I look forward to seeing him beyond the stars, and am praying God will provide you-his family and all friends of his~ with the comfort only God can give. Be assured, he left an imprint on those of us who knew him and anyone with whom he came in contact was blessed! May God's blessings be on the Limberakis family.
Warmly,
Kelly

To all of the Limbeakis Family, my sincere sympathy to you. I am a old high and earlier school mate of Mikes. Although I have not seen him since those days I have a connection because we were from Holbrook and hung around the same area...called the Grove. The little store was a favorite place in those days of mine, everybody went there. Love top you all

I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. He was such a wonderful, kind and caring person. He always had a smile and a good word for everyone at the club. Michael spoke a lot about his work through his speeches and artwork. He was such a great person to know. Eastern Middlesex Toastmasters will never be the same without Michael's presence and energy at the club. My deepest symathies are with his family and friends. Michael will be sorely missed.

I knew you since I was a toddler, you were older than me but you were always a good and honest person and I always enjoyed talking to you. Dear Mrs. Limberakis, Gigi, & Jennifer:
I was deeply saddened when I learned of Michael's passing today. I have known all of you since a very young age when living in Medford. All of you have been wonderful friends to me and my parents. Michael was the closest of the three of you in age to me. I have fond memories of my childhood with Michael and your family. I even remember he agreed to be my "date" for my sophomore high school dance. Words cannot express how terrible I feel. My parents are deeply saddened as well. May wonderful memories help to comfort you during this difficult time. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Much love always, Annmarie (Romano) Stackhouse xo

I've had the pleasure of drumming with Michael and been recipient to his incredible smile, which was one of the most beautiful ever. A reflection of the bright and vibrant soul that is Michael. He was always smiling, laughing and reaching out to others in such a kind and gentle manner. A really special person. I remember spending a birthday/Christmas celebration out in Salem, drumming dancing, having a great time. Another time out in Chelsea drumming by the river, just a few of us and Michael's dog, jamming by the river enjoying the simple things in life. Thank you for making the simple things so beautiful. Michael will truly be missed. I am so sorry for this loss.

I was so stunned to hear that our dear friend Michael has passed into spirit realm, but he will live on through his beautiful glass work, and the colors he brought to our lives. Our last time with him was a joy, as always. We will drum in his honor this Sunday as I know he would have been there and will be there in spirit for certain.

Michael was one of the kindest and most generous souls I have ever known. He shared the art of making stained glass windows with me many years ago and it has become my greatest joy. I work in glass every day and I always think of Michael and bless him for putting me on this path. But Michael also was a dear friend who always had a kind word, a helping hand and an infectious smile. If only the good die young, then we were fortunate to have shared his light for as long as we did. Rest in Peace, dear friend.

I knew Michael only casually yet I knew that he was someone very special. He always had a bright smile to greet you and never a bad word. I always looked forward to bumping into him. I'll miss those infrequent times our paths would cross and we would have a pleasant talk about nothing of importance. To those of you who knew Michael better than I, I am truley sorry for your loss. What a great friend, brother and son he must have been. I say this because I know how he treated vertual strangers like myself and can only imagine that this was magnified by those closer to him. RIP Mike

I met Michael because of is artistry; working with stained glass. Debra and I had two 100+ year old windows in a state of disrepair. And a little while back (November-ish) we engaged him for more glass work for our front door. Worth every penny and then some. Michael's work was impeccable.
He was elevated to "My Guy" status after the first round of windows. Every as a "My Guy"... when you talk about these people you always say - "Y'know, My Guy can help you... Here's his phone number. If you tell him I sent you, he might buy you a cup of coffee". or "I gotta a Guy. If he cannot help you he knows someone who can."
A kind soul with more friends and family than George Bailey. Michael's concern for others and love of happy endings coupled with his infectious smile and laugh made him a person you wanted to be around. He always asked about my nephew Cory when we met. Michael helped me over the past few years by being himself.
For some reason, and the corresponding "Why?" will forever be unanswered", Michael would come over and have my percolated coffee every few months... come to think of it we were due for a visit. We would sit in the breakfast nook and LAUGH so hard. It was easy to speak about our, businesses, finances, student loans , problems and struggles too... never judgmental, always offering the listening ear to each other.
The value of the time he gave me is greater than any other glass work he could have performed for me. My fortune is that I remember Michael every single day I walk in and out the front door.
I am so fortunate to have been in his light.
Our prayers of peace and enlightenment are with him and his family.

To the Limberakis Family-
I am so sorry for your loss. Over the past 3 years, I have attended many drum circles with Michael, in fact, we drummed together a little over a week ago. He talked about a current glass project he was working on that he was very engaged in. He generously picked me up and dropped me off at the subway numerous times to attend this circle, including the most recent one. I enjoyed our chats, I enjoyed his effortless drumming style. If I lost the beat, I could always look to Michael. He had a positive outlook on life and a great spirit. This is such a shock. I will miss him and I know many in the drumming community share this sentiment.
