Of Medford, October 5. Retired Deputy Chief Medford Fire Dept. Beloved son of the late Michael and Daisy (Stevens) McHale. Loving brother of Esther T. Hanlon of Stoneham, James S. McHale of CT and the late E. Marie McCarthy, John W. McHale and Harry P. McHale. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great great niece. Michael is a late member of the Veterans Association of the Lawrence Light Guard, Past Commander and member of Medford Post #45 of The American Legion, Member of Medford Post #1012 V.F.W., Member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, Member of Chatham Trail Association, Loyal member of Saint Raphael's Parish for over seventy years and the last of his family.
