I miss Michael’s sense of human and warm smile. It was so obvious talking with him that he deeply loved and respected his family. I feel like being around him made me want to be more appreciative of those things too.

I am remembering Michael on the 6th anniversary of his death. In 1968, we led high school students through Europe from Brussels to Prague and back. Michael made it significant, moving, fun and eased the way for us all. His memory and his life remains a treasure down the years.

Dear Carol: Its Judi Mahon. I was Michaels assistant at Tucker Anthony. I am so very very heartbroken to hear of Michael's passing. I write this through my tears -- I know too how much Michael loved you all so very much. Even though it has been many years, I remember this so strongly. He was an outstanding human being and I feel priviledged to have had the honor of knowing him. May God bless you and the children. In Sympathy, Judi

I am deeply saddened to hear of Michael's passing. Michael was truly a remarkable man - intelligent - caring - sensitive - witty - a pleasure to work for and an honor to know. I worked for Michael at Fidelity Investments and enjoyed every moment - he was a friend to everyone. I will always remember his love and devotion to his wife and children - he was happiest when talking of them. Michael - "The world will be a lesser place without you - and heaven will be a greater place with you"! I regret that I was just informed of Michael's passing - and did not have the opportunity to be at the services to express my sympathy to Carol, Rachel and Joshua - Michael loved you dearly. With my deepest love and sympathy - Lucille Murray

Michael and I go back to junior high in Flushing, wonderful recent French lunch near Harvard Square, and his brilliant talk on business ethics to DC's SEC, where he broke up the audience by opening with a posted high school photo of my old distinctionless appearance. I regret my inability to be in Boston last week to express deep admiration and loss of Michael's calm strength, warmth and ethics reflective of a noble family.

I come be this news with great sadness. I hadn't spoken with Michael since High School and only very recently, within the last few months, took the prelimanary steps to become reaquainted by friending him on Facebook. I had heard that he was ill but did not know it was so grave a situation. I tresure my memory of him from so long ago and offer my sympathies to those with whom he shared his life. You must be grateful for whatever time you had with him. He was a large and gracious spirit.

Oh no !
Our thoughts are with you dear family and friends. How difficult it must be to say good bye to a gentle person like Michael. I remember in particular his thoughtful kindness to my son when he was a little boy.

My dearest sympathies to the family of Michael. The happy memories of us (Michael, Alan, Nick and myself) attending KNICKS games are still very fresh in my mind. Although I am abroad, I am very glad I was able to see Michael a few years ago at Nick's wedding. He was a wonderful person. My heart goes out to you all...

Memories of Passover with Michael are ones I hold dear as his sense of family and tradition were so genuine and admirable. His kindness and witty sense of humor always made me feel at home. My deepest sympathies to your family. I had the honor of working for Micheal at Fidelity at a time when I was diagnosed with Cancer. His compassion and support were very special and something I will always remember fondly. I had the privledge of working again with Michael in another capacity a few years later and his sense of deceny, his love for family, and his ethical character and sense of humor made our time working a true pleasure. I will always remember him fondly and wish your family peace at this time.
