Mike I still think of you so often. I know my life would have been so different if you were still here. Despite my youth and disbelief that someone as sweet, genuine, thoughtful, understanding and loving actually loved the way I believed you did, I was signed, sealed and delivered long before I finally told you.... Sadly it was so soon after that I lost you, but I´ve never forgotten you and I´ve always held you in my heart. You will always be special to me and I´ll always wish you were here with me. I love you Mike! I LOVE YOU!

Mike, I miss you dearly, but you are here with us now in some ways as you were a year ago. Just reading what people here have said of you, and what I know I feel about you, it is clear that parts of you are as alive now as they ever were. People felt you, Mike, in profound ways, and that is something to be so very proud of. I can't even imagine what your family is feeling right now, and I know that you are there somewhere sending them giant mental bear hugs. I miss those. And I miss the joy I felt everytime I saw you, and how genuinely excited and happy you seemed everytime you saw me. I wish I could have been around more just to feel that again.

Keep learning, keep loving, and keep smiling. Save me a seat at the table brother, we'll be skiing again in no time.

What i remember most about Mike was his never-ending smile. I met Mike last year at Psi Chi inductions at UMASS, Boston. I remember how proud he was as he pinned his honor on his jacket. 10 other people were initiated into the honors society that day, and Mike is the only other one i remember. it was his smile for sure-- impossible to forget. In the year to follow, I ran into Mike alot, and not only on campus, but at my own house, and the houses of many of my friend. One time, I came home from school, and there he was, sitting on my couch!(Turns out he is a longtime friend of my roomate.) I can see how Mike touched so many lives with his charm and sparkle, loyalty and AMAZINGLY friendly personality, and I am deeply saddened for the loss. I extend my deepest sympathies to all of Mikes friends and families. Mike will live on in our hearts today, tomorrow and forever.

Mike was a good friend, he would look past appearances to what was in the heart. He was always so happy, positive, and outgoing. Always had that smile for you, for everyone. He was one of a few people who actually came out to Colorado to visit after I moved. I take comfort knowing he had a happy, full, and fun life. He fulfilled his destiny here on Earth, and tho it is too early to lose him for all of us who love him, who are we to question God's decisions. I will always think back to his huge smile and huge heart, and I will cherish all the pictures I have of us with him. I wish grace and strength his family and all of his friends. Peace and Love. Never forget you, Mike.

Mike Scheller was one of the greatest people I have ever had in my life. He was always there for me with a big smile to make life a little better. He was one the most kind hearted, giving and intelligent people I have ever known or probably will know. I know he will live on in our memories for the rest of our lives. I just hope he can see how many people there are that love him and care about him. I have lost a very dear friend and the world has lost a very special person, I will miss him very much.
