Michael Stella Obituary

STELLA, The Honorable Michael T. Jr A lifelong resident of Greater Lawrence, passed away on Tuesday, February 16th, 2010 from a series of illnesses. Judge Stella is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara (Donovan) Stella, his brother, Atty. George A. Stella and his wife Elizabeth, and his sister Marilyn Stella, his mother-in-law, Florence Donovan, and brother-in-Law Thomas R. Donovan. He was also the uncle of the late George A. Stella, Jr. Arrangements: Family and friends may call on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00pm and Friday, February 19, 2010 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 10:00am in Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St. Lawrence. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Dana - Farber Cancer Institute 44 Binney Street Boston, MA 02115 or Merrimack College 315 Turnpike Street, North Andover, MA 01845.
