Hey Mike, I really miss you. It was a pleasure to work with you every day, especially because you always had a smile on your face and seemed to be happy with everything in life. You were so courageous fighting your illness, never letting on that it was that bad. I want you to know that if I live to be 100 years old, I will think of you every day... with a smile on my face.

I just found out about Mikes passing 2 days ago, and I am in shock. I work at Trader Joes, and we just got our frozen mashed potatoes in this week. I spoke to the fedex driver to ask if I could get in touch with Mike, to let him know that his favorite thing has come back for the season. I was shocked to hear the news. I lost my husband 10/16/07 and I am still trying to deal with the loss. You would never have known he was sick, as he always was so happy and upbeat. Having had him deliver for such a long time to Trader Joes, I had just assumed they switched his route. I will pray for you and your family...he was a great guy and will never be forgotten in my heart. God Bless!

My condolences to Mike's family and friends. I lost my job in Hanover a few months ago, so I just found out about his illness and passing from the article in the Herald. He delivered packages to the office for FedEx, but more importantly he brought a ray of sunshine to all he came in contact with. May he rest in peace.

To the Wilson family:

Mike was my Fedex driver for years at Food Tech in Hanover. He was always so upbeat even after his diagnosis. It is so true that people can touch your lives even when you barely even know them. He was an amazing man, with such an incredible love for life and a spirit about him that could make anyone smile.

I am deeply sorry for your loss and pray that you can find peace in the fact that Mike was loved by so many.

To the Wilson Family,
I just learned of Mike's passing and I am sorry I was unable to attend the wake. I worked with Mike at Fed Ex ten years ago, but it seems like a lot longer. I miss the laughs and comeraderie that we would share each morning. It is the people that I miss from Fed Ex and Mike was one of the stand outs. May God bless you and help through this incredibly difficult time.

To the Wilson Family,

Mike and I met when I worked for Rockland Trust in Hanover and he was our ever smiling FedEx Guy. He took me by surprise when he told me that he was long time friends with my parents (Rick and Joan Sawler)and had known me when I was a little girl.

My parents always have spoken highly of him and I can see why. Mike always had a smile on his face, loved talking about his family, and simply showed that he loved life.

We are truly sorry about your family's great loss. Everyone that knew Mike, and especially his family will always have great memories of him.

To the Wilson Family...
Mike came in occasionally at Maxwell's in Hanover to make deliveries...always sporting his famous smile. I remember one time he came in to buy a 'just right' 25th anniversary card for the 'love of his life' (his words). I will always remember how much time and love went into making his choice.
May your memories of this wonderful gentelman give you strenght now and the days ahead...

Dear Debbie,

I just learned of Michael's passing, I can't tell you how shocked I am to hear this news. It's difficult for me to express the sorrow I feel for you and your family. I always knew Mike to be a happy and wonderful person who loved his family beyond anything else. I can't begin to imagine what you and your family are going through, none of you deserve such anguish. Debbie, strength and love are your character. All who know you, know this. The love of your children, friends and family will help get you through this impossibly difficult time. If I had the power to make your heartache go away, I would. Please accept my deepest condolences on behalf of my entire family. Big Hugs!! Louie

To the Wilson Family,

I worked with Mike for several years at Fed Ex in Randolph, and some of those years one route over from him. He was one of the good ones for sure. We shared many laughs and I am saddened by his loss. I actually was at a wake tonight for an old friend from High School, who died the same day as Mike did, otherwise I would have been there. Same illness, sadly

Fed Ex lost a good courier, and we also lost a dear friend. Godspeed, Mike!

His gorgeous smile and gentle personality will live forever in our memories.

Dear Debbie, Jamie, and Mike,

When we moved into the neighborhood 8 ½ years ago, we thought we hit the jackpot by finding a home in the same neighborhood of several of Britt’s friends. But as I talked to a friend today, I realized that the real jackpot was living next door to you and having the wonderful opportunity to know and love Mike. We will forever remember fondly his smiling face at our backdoor with fresh vegetables from his garden, having our wonderful conversations that took place at the “rock wall”, watching him wash his truck within minutes upon returning from a fishing trip, and just knowing that he always watched over us, especially when Phil was away. But most importantly, he has left his beautiful fingerprints all over our house from all the work that he has done for us over the years. It is so wonderful to know that my girls will always be able to say, “our friend Mike built our bedrooms for us”. We are blessed with so many wonderful memories of Mike and for that, we are eternally grateful. We love you all so very much and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love, Jodi, Phil, Britt, and Ashley

My Dearest Cousin Michael,
We prayed for a miracle, and so did Auntie Jean. She took you to your everlasting home, to be with her and build your small house.

I don't think you really liked the smell of the chicken coup even though you said you did. However, I'm sure you'll be picking blueberries with Uncle Bud on Pine Island Road. Save some for "Our People", as we will all be joining you in heaven.

I love you Michael,

Cousin Julie
