I'm sorry. I still remember your welcome tea at Ft. Riley where you put all the colonel's wives at ease by saying you were an informal person. The mood in the room changed. I was a captain's wife at the time. I know you will be greatly missed.

It's been many years since Norwich , but even longer since I remember standing outside Gay's house chatting with you and, I believe, Bob Hopkins, about what I have no idea. that was in the early 50's. Why I recall that is beyond me, but it is clear as a bell as is Gay's face..
