Dear Family of Dr. Al:
I am very saddened by the news of Dr. Al's death. He called me just a few days ago asking for my email address so that he could keep me informed of the memoirs that he was beginning to write. He was not only my doctor but was also my friend. I got him to affiliate with the Plymouth Lodge of Masons and ate with him at our meetings. At his request, one summer many years ago, I had Heather working for me at my tax practice office which, I believe, gave her some experience towards her CPA title. He was the only physician that attended the dedication of a weeping cherry tree that was planted in front of the Jordan Hospital in memory of my late wife who lost her life in a fatal auto accident in 1990. He was truly a skilled physician and a compassionate man. I will miss him. My love and sympathies go with you.

I am sitting here with tears flowing - just cannot believe what I just read.......oh no - NOT Dr. Al, NOT "Mo-e" - so many memories - and hard to believe they are so many years ago!! The years in his office (old one and new one) - the times I was made to feel so "at home" in your home.......the many nice things done for me, including the gift for my parent's 50th anniversary.... time is cruel - to pass so quickly - making all those smiles turn to tears too soon!! My heart aches for ALL of you, not just my beloved Carolyn.......you will all be in my thoughts and in my prayers - do wish I could be there to give you, one and all, a loving hug!! I treasure the fact that you were there for me when I lost my precious Meri!!
