So sorry to learn about Moira´s passing. My husband Chuck taught with her in Hingham and we remained friends for years afterwards. Moira was a wonderful poet and friend.
Our deepest condolences to her family.

A wonderful friend and a loving grandmother, stepmother. How did she remain so productive? I am so very sad! Gail Cooper

Moira was a dear friend. As a neighbor, we spent many an afternoon walking around a near-by pond and also enjoying dinners, movies and outings with her and Dan. Later in life, I faithfully followed her poetry writing and attended readings, virtually, when possible. We were sure to visit for lunch yearly and enjoyed exchanging emails and cards to celebrate life events. Moira was always a thoughtful friend and loved to share her news about her family and her travels. I admired her tenacity and creativity. Moira's friendship will be greatly missed.

Moira was an inspiration and role model. Her poetry was as carefully and beautifully constructed as the garments designed by her grandparents who are commemorated in one of her books. She was an incredibly kind and caring person who made herself available for visits with her friends and cherished her valued her special time with her grandchildren even as she maintained a strict schedule for her writing. Her poetry drew on her deep appreciation of nature, including human nature. And what a teacher she was as I discovered when I took a class with her. Her memory will be a blessing to all who were fortunate to know her.
