MONA PING FENG

FENG, Mona Ping It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share with you the passing of Dr. Mona P. Feng, who died peacefully at her home, in Newmarket, New Hampshire, on April 26, 2025, with her husband by her side. She was 67 years old. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Wright of Newmarket, NH; and her beautiful son, Baoyu of Lincoln Park, Chicago. Mona was born in China on June 19, 1957. She earned her medical degree at Capital Medical University in Beijing, China and completed a residency at Peking Union Hospital. She then moved to the United States to attend Washington University in Saint Louis, where she graduated with an M.A. in neuroscience. She completed a pediatric residency program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Mona established her private pediatric practice in Newmarket, NH. She was a dedicated and compassionate physician whose patients were always her top priority. Her first patient was from a mother whom she met at story hour at the local library. It was not uncommon for Mona to receive a call after hours or on a weekend when she would tell the caller to meet her at the office in 15 minutes. Many of her young patients later came back to her as parents for which she would muse "Am I getting that old?" Mona often said that if she listened to everyone who ever said no to her in life she would still be in China, would have never met her husband, never had her son and would have never started her private practice. She has touched the lives of so many and will be greatly missed. May her beautiful soul rest in peace and may she be an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
