WHEATON, Muriel E. (West) Oldest Living Nipmuk Indian of Central, MA, daughter of prior oldest Nipmuk, Marion B. Belden Braxton West Stanton who passed at the age of 102 in 2000 of Boston (Dor.), August 23, 2013 at the blessed age of 95 passed peacefully in her sleep at her family home of 60 years. Born February 26, 1918 in Cambridge, MA, a graduate of Cambridge Rindge & Latin and Secretarial Schools. Retired from a thirty year career at Stop & Shop Bakery. Life member of St. Augustine & St. Martin Episcopal Church. Member of The Goldennaires of Freedom House. Citizen of the USA and the Nipmuc Nation of Central, MA. Eldest child of Charles A. West and Marion B. (Braxton) West Stanton. Widow of Harold C. Wheaton, Micmac, WWII Veteran and Lic. Plumber. Mother of 6: Harold C. Wheaton, Ronald E. Wheaton, Theodore M. Wheaton, Sheila J. (Wheaton) Martin, Maureen A. (Wheaton) Glover, Kathryn Akuahah Wheaton. Grandmother of 17: Crystal, Ronald, Wendy, Marla, Kym, Ted, Andre, Teisha, Derek, Wayne, Anita, Sheila, Jaime, Lisa, Daniel, Kimberly, and Sunae. Great Grandmother of 15: Brittany, Olivia, Milan, Nairi, Garine, Kohar, Talin, Steven, Taylor, Alexandra, Teddy, Tre, Charm, Alliyah, and Elise. Great great grandmother of Avery. Funeral Service: Saturday, September 7, 2013 at St. Augustine & St. Martin Episcopal Church, 31 Lenox St., So. End, Boston, MA, Wake: 11:00am, Funeral: 12:00pm. Interment following at Mt.
