ORTWEIN, Nanci L. (Leverone) Of Brewster and Arlington, where she was a longtime teacher, on September 9th. Loving mother of Kristin Caruso and her husband Michael of Peabody, Kathlyn Ortwein of Yarmouth, and Michael Ortwein and his wife Jennifer of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Cherished grandmother of Camryn, Jake and Luke Caruso, Aubrey and Teddy Fleming and Jack, Peter, Charlie and Tommy Ortwein. Sister of Lillian Peracchia and her husband Camillo of Rochester, NY. Aunt of Luigi Peracchia and his wife Nancy of Strasburg, VA, Carla Peracchia of Rochester, NY, and Tanya Baker and her husband John of Fairport, NY as well as all of her beloved cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and her best friend of sixty-five years Sandra Brown-Papasedero. Nanci is also survived by her former spouse Bernard M. Ortwein, II and his wife Karen of Estero, Florida. Relatives and friends are invited to visit in the DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON on Thursday from 4-7 pm and Friday from 9-11 am. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11:30 am in St. Agnes Church and can be live streamed by visiting cparl.org Burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Kristin, Michael, and Katie, Please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathy. Mom was a true Arlington high school legend. Favorite memory of mom would be when she wrote out a student pass and sent it to me she would sign it Raquel. (Raquel Welch).
