I graduated from Brandeis University in 1984, and for my entire four years had a work-study job in the Buildings and Grounds Dept., for which Nick was the Supervisor. He was always so pleasant to me and always was so understanding of my ever-changing class schedules. I'll always remember his cheery demeanor when he breezed into the office with his big stack of papers after all of his various rounds and meetings, and then he would smile and ask half-jokingly, "Any urgent messages??!!" I also remember his mom would call often looking for him, and assured me in her pleasant Italian accent: "Not an emergency, Honey!"
I have thought of Nick fondly and often over the years, and am so happy that he lived a long and full life. Condolences to his family, and bless his kind soul!

Oh the laughs we would have in the old days....Patti, me, Mr. Cardone (Al) and uncle Nick! Working in the basement (and later over the garage) on Main Street! The "guys" were always smiling and telling stories! How we got anything done I can't tell you! Well...they're all together now! Our loss is their gain! I love them all and I miss them all! Nick was a nice man! RIP Uncle Nick. Say hi to everyone for me.

We are truly sorry to hear of Nick's passing. His short time here at Waltham Crossings gave us a good run and made quite a few friends. Nick certainly knew what he wanted and when and he ran the roost. A character in his own way and we loved him for that. He spent a lot of time here in the living room and the stories he would tell kept quite a few of us amused.
May he be at peace and we are thinking of all of you,
Fondly,
Clare
