Nicky will truly be missed by all who knew & loved him. I will miss his big bear hugs and how great he always smelled! He was so special and gentle. He loved my father so dearly that after his death Nicky continued to keep in touch with my Mother, visiting her when he could when she went down the Cape and when she got sick herself. A very caring and gentle man will be missed by all.
My deepest sympathies to Blanche and her family.
Love,

What sad days these are. I "grew up" with "uncle Nick" - space is too limited to recall all the wonderful memories, but I have them. My deepest sympathy to Bianchina and all the family. We will think of you often...

We will always remember and miss him dearly. Uncle Nick was a fun and loving person. He had a smile and respect for all his nieces and nephews everytime we were together. He will now be reunited with his Sisters and Brothers in Heaven.

To the Sorrentino family, our prayers are with you at this very sad time. I only met Nick once, but remember him as a very kind man. Though working with Theresa for the past 10 years, I have heard many good things about him and his lovely wife Blanche. God bless you all.

Oh how can we all bear it - a piece of our hearts ripped forever. We all loved him so. He was our beacon, our model of what we could achieve.
The last of 11 children, the baby, growing up in a large, happy Italian family on Franklin St. in Cambridge.
I remember the stories, how he was rescued from the tub of their old fashioned washing machine and telling his Mom that he thought it would be like an amusement ride!
How he was the first in our family to go to college, Boston College-it made our granfather so proud.
I rember the day he came home from serving in World War 2 - I guess that was the day I feel in love with him-it was summer, I was 5 yrs old and in the kitchen with Eva, we saw him walking in the back yard, the sun at his back. He was so handsome in his uniform.
I remember his wedding to Blanche and all the happy holidays at Franklin St.
He was a loving husband, caring father, and proud grandfather, and, over the years, the patriach of family. Always looking forward to any event that we knew he and Blanche would be attending. And there he'd be, with that smile of his - that lit up his whole being -that twinkle in his eye that made you believe that only you and he were in on the secret.
You are our hero Uncle Nicky. You taught us by your example how to have a long and loving marriage, how to raise our children, how to be successful in business, how to be a good uncle, and how to face death - bravely and with trust in God. I love you. God bless you.

To the entire Sorrentino Family, my deepest sympathies. Mr. Sorrentino was a wonderful man who will be missed from this world. Always a smile, always a kind word when he stopped by the insurance agency here in Arlington. Always a gentleman. God has taken such a wonderful person, only to make him a wonderful angel. God Bless You,

Uncle Nick was a wonderful and special person. He was gently, kind and loving. He touched so many lives and he was not even aware of it. Being the youngest in his family I guess most of us identified with him for he never seemed to age. All his nieces and nephews and even his great nieces and nephews love him. He just created a loving bond when you talked to him. Maybe I feel much closer to him because my mother loved him very much and after she died he was there to talk and share all the memories but most of all he share how much he loved her. I will miss him greatly. It will ease the pain of his not being here on earth with me to know that he is in Heaven with my Mother, and he will be forever in my heart.
