When I read of Noel's death I was saddened and somewhat surprised as I saw him about a month ago at Town Hall. His body was failing him but his mind was sharp. He truly was a bright, honorable, trustworthy and well-respected man. He earned that respect. He was also always kind to our democrats in allowing them space to meet and call and he shared good advice and counsel with us. I shared news of his passing with my mother, Bea, who remembered him fondly. We always appreciated the good man that he was. May he rest in peace and watch over all of you.
