Norton Edward ELLMAN

ELLMAN, Norton Edward Lovingly surrounded by his family, Norton Edward Ellman of Newton Massachusetts, passed away on July 11, at the age of 98 years.

He will be dearly remembered by his wife of 77 years, Muriel; children, Paula and Doug, Matthew and Laurie and Larry and Karen; grandchildren: Anna and Karl Rodger, Sam Chavis and Jennie and Rich Mullin, Isaac and Amanda Ellman and Hannah Ellman and Olivia Westbrook-Gold, Alex Ellman and Sarah Ellman; and great-grandchildren, Lucy and Chase Rodger and Jack Mullin.

Norton was born in Boston, MA and lived most of his life in Newton, MA. He was an entrepreneur in developing his real estate investment firm. He embraced his family and friends with love and deep commitment. Norton loved fishing, running, birdwatching, watching the New England Patriots, fostering a decades-long wine club, and especially summer vacations with his family in Wellfleet-Cape Cod. Over the long arc of the many aspects of his life, Norton gifted all with his generosity.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Sunday, July 13, at Robert E. Shure & Son Funeral Home, 543 George Street, NEW HAVEN, Connecticut. Burial will follow at Beaver Brook Cemetery, Old Post Road, Clinton, Connecticut.
