We are fellow St. John's members and Fearing Road neighbors (38) for a short while, and I always enjoyed our chats. Mr. and Mrs. Monroe were always so kind and welcoming to my children, along with all of the neighborhood children, as they took over their hill for sledding during every good snowfall. By reading this obituary, I see he exemplifies a life well lived. Blessings of peace to his family.

I always loved talking with Mr. Monroe. Even as a high school kid, I could spot a great Dad and brilliant person, and this beautiful tribute above reflects those qualities; the same kind of strengths that are so evident in my friend, his daughter Rebecca.
