Patricia Brossi Obituary

BROSSI, Patricia Ann (Green) Age 71, died peacefully, Tuesday, April 28th, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Mary E. (Young) Nicolazzo and the late Parker M. Green, Ph.D. She was the step-daughter of the late Francis P. Nicolazzo. Patricia was a generous and gregarious person. She could frequently be found socializing with friends in Framingham and Chatham. Patricia enjoyed many years of companionship with her pet dog, Powder Puff. She appreciated fine art and reading archaeological periodicals. Patricia also enjoyed partaking in vocal lessons and could be often heard singing at St. Bridget's Church. She was also a member of the Framingham Historical Society. Patricia is survived by her children, Michael D. Brossi and his wife Tammy of Marlborough, Linda M. Murphy and her husband, David of Boylston and David W. Brossi of Lexington. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: David, Douglas and Justine Murphy and Nicole and Thomas Brossi. She also leaves her cousin Lee Allosso and her husband Richard of Salisbury, NC. Friends and relatives are cordially invited to a Mass in celebration of Patricia' life to be held Monday, May 4th at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget's Church, 832 Worcester Road (Rt. 9 East), Framingham. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. Calling hours are Sunday, May 3rd, 2 - 5 p.m. at Eugene J. McCarthy & Sons Funeral Home, www.mccarthyfh.com, 11 Lincoln Street, FRAMINGHAM.
