Pat was my dearest friend.She befriended me when my family moved from the Chicago,Illinois area to Marblehead MA. I knew no one or the New England way of life. Pat and I have similar family situations so we understood each others problems and joys. We confided in each other. Pat demonstrated the New England way of speech and life style. Living in Marblehead was an experience. Marblehead is not the same as the Midwest.I am very fortunate that Pat became my very dear friend.I am certain that she is in heaven and hope when I die Pat and I can have lunch at a small restaurant near Devereux Beach.
