ALLEN, Patrick M. Age 72, Feb. 4, 2012 of Pocasset formerly of Arlington. Husband of Patricia A. (Coleman) Allen. Father of Dorene M. Allen-England of Carver, Theresa Allen-Seymore of Las Vegas, NV, Michael J. Allen of Sydney, Australia and Patrick J. Allen of Hudson, NH. Brother of Anthony Allen of Milton, Bridie Curley of Ireland and the late John and Richard Allen and the late Maryanne Coyne. Affectionately known as "Grumpy" to his grandchildren, Brianna, Kerry, Zoe and Tanner. Funeral will be from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham on Fri., Feb. 10, 2012 at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Church, 86 Court St., Plymouth at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Cataumet Cemetery, Cataumet. Visiting hours will be Thurs. from 5 - 8 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 5 Manley St., W. Bridgewater, MA 02379. Pat was a great man. When I worked with him at the Lincoln Water Dept he taught me more than just water works, he taught me how to live life and to be a better person. I miss you. My thoughts and prayers are with all who were touched by such a wonderful person.

My father and I are so sorry to hear of Pat's death. We have so many fond memories of him throughout the years. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Fondly Marilyn, Carol and Cecil Everett.
