Very saddened to hear of Paul's passing. He and I attended Berklee as students in our freshman year, 1976. We attended many classes together. Over the years I had played many gigs with Paul. He was always so positive and a great musician. I lost touch with him in recent years as I have moved across country. But I remember him as a fellow student and a great musical collegue.

Our Very Deepest Sympathy in the loss of such a truly wonderful man. Paul was down to earth, sincere and loved his family and profession.
He was very intelligent, humorous, dedicated musician & Professor. Working with him for 8 years, I'd love hearing all about his treasured daughter Emily. Paul was a humble man but glowed
with pride when speaking of Emily and her extraordinary talent.
In my lifetime I have been blessed to know Paul and Joan. He loved Joan and they would have many cultural stories to share. We had
many happy times together. They will always be dear memories.
I was fortunate to meet their lovely Emily. She is his legacy.
Berklee College of Music has truly lost a Gem. There will be an emptiness in the halls and many sorrowful hearts.
I know, because thats how I feel..so saddened. Paul was an honorable friend. I will never forget.
Deepest Condolences to Joan, Emily, Paul's Mother and the family.
Sent With Love, Lin Darcy Nikonchuk , Stephen & Erik Nikonchuk
