Uncle, You left us so suddenly and unprepared. I just want you to know that you have done so much for our family and you will be sadly missed. I remember you taking me to dancing school and to my recitals as well as my figure skating lessons. You were just like my dad and you did everything for Jamie and I. When we had our children you were there thru EVERYTHING> But the memories of your laugh , smile, and all the crazy road trips on the back of your bilke , Hampton beach, rimks, pools, and skiing as well as Florida will be locked in our heads forever. Thankyou for being the uncle you are. Please watch over all of us and keep us safe from harm cus that is what you did best. I love you and will love you forever and ever. hugs and kisses your neice, Karan

To the family of Paul Hegner,
With all the wonderful words that are spoken of Paul may it make this difficult time bearable. I have had the great opportunity to have met Paul through Everett Youth Hockey. I must say, he is a man who only had such kind, thoughtful words to say about each player that placed their skates on ice. I will always remember his funny wit that he portrayed at hockey functions. His ability to make a group of people smile and laugh with his smooth dancing techniques while in Canada during the Everett Youth Hockey Exchange will always be a great memory that I will keep of him. He truly will be missed.

To the Wonderful Family of
Paul Hegner
My deepest sympathy to all of you,
he held so dear.
I worked with Paul at Glendale Park
and can't begin to tell you what a
wonderful, heartwarming, and gentleman he was, as you all knew. Truly loved and devoted to his Family, and his neices and nephews was always the main topic, and his life.
Paul took Pride in the future and dreams, had faith and hope, and confidence of hard work to acheive for his neices and nephews.
You all made him happy and proud.
All the great guys he worked with at the Park Dept. respected and loved him. He would do anything for you if he could, and would be a fun
person, to be with.
He so loved Hockey and his daily jogging and I believe Glendale Park had more of his footsteps pass by than any one else, along with his beautiful blue eyes.
He leave a wonderful legacy of devotion, love and care.
I hold his wonderful memories and talks dear, and he will always be in my prayers.
Everyone calls me 'Nona', the Cake
Lady.
I am always close by, for anything I can do, for you.
Keep strong, and Keep up the good
work, to continue to Make Uncle Paul Proud, because he will always be with you.
Cherish all your golden memories dear till the day you will all be together again.

Love & God Bless

I am saddened to hear of Paul's passing and I pray for God to ease your pain. Paul was truly a gentleman in every way and an example of a selfless, caring, authentic individual who always did for others first. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know him over the years in the rinks and out running on the roads. Your family was truly blessed to have such a fine man in your lives that touched so many others.

I haven't seen or spoken to Paul since our childhood and early teen-age years in Brighton. He was a good friend. I now have a warm smile thinking of his enthusiasm, jokes, and comradeship of our youth. The many wonderful tributes about Paul posted on this guest book are no surprise to me. The entire Hegner family, both living and dead, are in my prayers.

All of the 4th of July parties when he danced the "crazy dance" - Mardi Gras in New Orleans when he "rescued the beads for Lauren". He has a very special place in my heart and always will. Dear Fran and The Hegner Family,
I am truly shocked to hear of Paul's passing. I enjoyed his friendship as neighbors for many years. He was truly a great human being. I will never forget running The Boston Marathon with him in 1991. If it weren't for his inspiration I don't believe I would have even finished. He was truly one of the good guys. I saw him from time to time and remember him delivering the election machines to my school in November and it was great seeing him. He will be sorely missed. God Bless Him And Your Family.... God Bless... I considered Paul to be one of my own uncles... He was the most generous and loving man to everyone... I loved it when he got a little tipsy and did the tree dance with no care in the world, and when he use to say "Roger that" over the radio when we were out skiing in NH during Febuary vacation... Love ya "uncle" Paul
