PAUL THOMAS KYTE

KYTE, Paul Thomas Age 84, beloved husband, father, father-in-law, uncle and dear friend to many, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. He was born on April 28, 1939 to Paul Kyte, Sr. and Patricia Sweeney Kyte and grew up in Waltham, Massachusetts. Paul received his undergraduate degree from Boston State College and his Master's in Education from Lesley. He went on to teach, first at the New England Home for Little Wanderers and then in the Salem, MA public schools. He later became a real estate agent and then a co-owner-broker of several successful real estate companies in his beloved city of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Paul is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jane Kyte; daughter, Jennifer Kyte with her husband, Ritch Winokur; daughter, Theresa Chilla with her husband, Marty Chilla; brother, Richard Kyte with his wife, Carol; sister, Susan Kyte; brother, John Kyte with his wife, Julie; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Paul had three grandchildren who were a great joy to him, Arlo and Tilley Winokur of Newburyport and Ruby Heintzelman of Eugene, Oregon. Paul was best known for his kindness, good sense of humor and passion for following his many interests and curiosities throughout his life. He will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held for family and friends in late June. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you make a donation in his memory to the charity of your choice.
