I knew
Peter as a competitor (until we hired him away), salesman, sales manager and publisher and have so many fond and humerous memories that I will never forget him. Mary and I have truly been fortunate to have known this delightful man. It will be great to see him again some day.

Mum, Sue, Shane, and Simon: I am so sad to hear of your loss. Of course, my memories go way back to the happy-go-lucky father figure I knew in Upper Montclair. Always a funny story, a ready smile, and that twinkle in his eye . . . a special man.

Dear Moyra and the whole Coley Family, I am so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He was a Wonderful and Incredible man. It was an honor to work for Peter, but more importantly, to be a friend. Helen Keller once said, "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose... all that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Peter will always be a part of me.

Peter was a great guy and a wonderful friend. Every place he went, he made friends and his stories of his travels and life were special. He mentored so many young people along his path. He will be missed.

Dear Moyra, please except our deepest sympathies and to all your family. It is comforting to remember all the happy times we shared here in Montclair,NJ, then in Wellesley and onto Rockport, not to forget our great tip to Ireland. Peter traveled the world in business and enjoyed sharing his experiences. As he hung up the phone after a conversation or left us after a visit his last words were always "God Bless". May God Bless you now Peter.

To Peter's Family, please accept our condolences. Peter was a talented and entertaining man, who lead the EDN team in the market and ultimately across Ireland. His stories and life lessons were legendary, as well as his ability to recant them. He left a mark and will truly be missed.

It is with deep sorrow that we learn of the passing of our dear friend Peter. He had so much compassion for others and i can remember our walks through the town of Rockport when he would stop and truly enjoy talking with many friends along the way I remember his many visits to our home here in Florida where we would celebrate his birthday's every February. We have lost a true friend .We pray that God will give Moyra and her wonderful family the strength and courage to bear this tremendous loss .Our lives were enriched by this wonderful man and he will always be remembered for the many good works he performed for others. When in his presense you always felt welcomed. We know he is gone from this world but is now enjoying his new home in heaven

After spending many enjoyable years working with Peter in the late1980's and early 1990's I came to view Peter as a true publishing professional and also as a friend . While he will be sorely missed by all of us who knew Peter , he will never be forgotten . In fact I can hear his wonderfully unique laugh right now . Rest in the arms of the Lord Peter ! Frank J. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I worked on EDN Magazine when Peter was Publisher and still later when he was Publishing Director. I remember his stories and good humor so well. He'd always tell me that I wore the map of Ireland on my face and that I had to go back and trace my roots. He was a larger than life personality and he'll be missed by those who knew him.
May he rest in peace.

Dear Moyra, Suzanne, Shane and Simon. I worked with your father for many years at Cahners and to this day he is still an inspiration. What a character and what knowledge of publishing and how to jazz it up!
There are so many stories that still exist! I was honored to know him. I'm very sorry for your loss.
Kind regards,
Debbie Virtue
