Dearest Ann, I am distraught hearing from Gail Vaccaro about Peter's death. It seems like such a short time ago that your children were in the Serafini Spanish class, and you and I were negotiating sparring partners. But always with great affection. I send you, Larry, Laura, Meghan my thoughts and prayers. May God give you all strength. Sue

I grew up with Peter in Wellesley and played soccer with him. Always enjoyed his company and sense of humor. Considered him a lifelong friend. Wish he could have been with us so much longer. He is and always will be missed. God Bless him and his family.

It was very sad news hearing we lost Peter. I hadn't seen him in many years, which I now regret. He was a friend who always made the room livelier. My personal condolences to the Fitzmaurice family. You have my family's prayers.

We all have funny, sweet, and mischievous memories of Peter....some go way back to Bates School and CCD torture. Peter taught us how to be more chill, how not to judge, and how to laugh at life and at ourselves. I wish I had worked harder to get him to our WHS '83 reunions. All positive thoughts and prayers go out to the extended Fitzmaurice family. Rest in peace, Fitzy.
