PHILIP J. TASSONE

1981 - 2017

TASSONE, Philip J. Formerly of Lexington, and Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away suddenly on May 14, 2017. Born in Boston, March 25, 1981, he is the son of Sheila M. Busa of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Woburn, and Joseph Tassone of Bedford. He is survived by his fiancee, Ashlee K. Gear also of Palm Beach Gardens, his brother, Stephen of Lexington, and his sister, Victoria of Woburn. He is the grandson of Shirley Busa formerly of Lexington and Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Philip is the beloved nephew of Marie Oppedisano of Bedford; Lee and Roger Densmore of Ledyard, CT; William and Mary Busa of Westwood; Anna Gould of Boca Raton, FL; Maureen and John Gilbert of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Richard Busa of Scottsdale, AZ; Thomas and Dianne Busa of Bedford; Matthew and Margaret Busa of Harrison, ME. He leaves behind many cherished cousins and dear friends. Philip was known for his kindness, loyalty, compassion, sense of humor, wonderful smile and dedicated work ethic. He was always a "champion of the underdog." He was exceptionally generous always lending a helping hand when needed. A Mass of Christian Burial is on Thursday, May 25, at 10:00 am at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 21 Follen Rd., Lexington. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, 201 Bedford St., Lexington, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "K.P.
