Dear Pat: I cannot express in words how I feel about Ralph's passing. It was shocking to me! I literally had to sit down to catch my breath for a few minutes after your phone call today. He was the best!! Not many like him left in this world. I grieve for him and especially for you and hope that you will find solace and comfort in time. He was a gem and I truly loved that man! He was genuine and always treated me with the utmost respect and was so generous to me in many ways. He will always be remembered for his kindness and concern. I am sure that you know how I felt about him. He will remain in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest and sincerest sympathy extended to you Pat and if you need to talk I am here for you anytime. Your friend always, Love, Joanie

Dear Tricia,
What can I say, I fell in love with you and Ralph the day I met both of you in East Boston. You were both my adopted parents, as you well know. I will always remember his cute smile, and words of wisdom. It seems so long ago, but the memories will linger forever. I hope you will come to visit Tim and me very soon in Florida, and at that time, we can toast to "Little Ralphie". Again, we are all so saddened to hear the news about the passing of Ralph.

Much love,
Claire, Timmy, and girls
