Ralph Goss Obituary

A beloved member of the Congregation of the Sisters of St Joseph of Boston for 71 years, and of the Bethany Community in Framingham, died Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at Bethany Healthcare Center in Framingham. Daughter of the late William Thomas and Alice (Hanabury) Goss. Retired teacher formerly missioned at St. Mary Brookline; St Mary, Winchester; St. Joseph, Wakefield; Cathedral, Boston; St. Columbkille, Brighton; Gate of Heaven, South Boston; St. Francis, Braintree; St. Paul, Cambridge; Motherhouse, Brighton; Bethany Health Care Center, Framingham. Sister of Sister Sara Goss, CSJ of Braintree, cousin of Sister Gladys King, CSJ of Milton. Also survived by her nephew William Thomas Chisholm and many loving grandnieces and grand nephews. Sister of the late William Thomas Goss and Frances Chisholm and niece of the late Sister Melmarie Hanabury. Visiting hours at St. Joseph Hall, 93 Bethany Rd. Framingham, will be Friday from 3:30 PM to 5 PM and 6 to 7 PM. A Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 7PM followed by a funeral Mass in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, 97 Bethany Rd, Framingham. Prayers of Final Commendation will be on Saturday at 9:30 AM in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Burial will follow in St Patrick Cemetery, Natick. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., FRAMINGHAM, MA 01702. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Sisters of St Joseph, c/o Development Office, 637 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA 02135.
